3 Tips to Improve Your Mood Daily
Work, Whining, no privacy pretty much sums up my life. I would like to say it’s much more glamourous but it’s just not. The Laundry piles and constant need to vacuum are my small changes to a very monotonous yet crazy life. It made for an easy slide into depression because it’s not easy to smile while you just need 5 minutes to yourself, and there is just no where to get those 5 minutes. Kid free? You must feel like your job is always wanting more and more from you without any regards to your time. Or maybe you feel as though everyone around you has everything you could want.
No matter what the cause, our mental health is not easily maintained by simply doing nothing. We have to exercise those muscles and create muscle memory just like any other parts of our bodies. And there are 3 ways you can do this daily. This way your mood can improve in the crazy days, your busy lives and those lonely perceptions can start to change.

Affirmations! You have perhaps heard about this everywhere. This is because it actually works. It’s a great way to start your day with that positive mindset you will need to maintain positive reactions to the obstacles that life throws at you.
Eat Dark Chocolate and/or Drink Green Tea! Seem to simple? It is in regard to the actions your taking but your body is doing something much bigger. A few pieces of dark chocolate that has more than 70 percent of cocoa can lower the stress hormones you have and reduce anxiety. The Hormones in particular is Cortisol and Catecholamines. Which love to really do some major changes to us emotionally and physically. The green tea has another hormone theanine which helps to keep your body calm. As someone who suffers from anxiety…I drink Green Tea all day. And I absolutely notice when I don’t.
Laugh! Laughter really is the best medicine. It’s been proven time and time again, so watch something funny or listen to a funny podcast. There is an abundance of ways to find laughter that you can bring into your life. And don’t stop your body from feeling that urge to smile while you’re at it.
