Binge-Worthy TV Shows For Tired Moms

I'm a tired mom just like you. My days as a Working from Home Mom, are filled with all of the same duties and responsibilities as a Stay at home mom and the job requirements of an employee. So what does that mean...well when I finally get to go to sleep. I"M EXHAUSTED! And then I don't sleep.

I think my brain is so wired I just can't sleep.

I also can barely function. I try doing more productive things and end up making noise because I don't seem to know how to stop being clumsy or frankly I just can't remember what I needed to do anymore ( which is why lists are amazing) But anyhoo. What I end up doing instead is my guilty pleasure....I binge watch shows!

Don't even lie, you binge watch too!

And I have found a few shows that were just PERFECT for being a tired mom who just wants to not think or worry or try for as long as we possibly can. Because this binge has to be an escape to be worth it.

1. Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce.

This show has the romance, the humor, the torture and just everything there is to a good show. And you don't have to watch every little detail to know what is going on. Win/Win!

  2. Schitt's Creek

Humor at it's finest. With a sprinkle of life lessons here and there. This show is talked about by many and for good reason. Give it a shot and you probably won't regret it. ( Riches to Rags storyline)

  3. Sweet Magnolias

Now this one is going to pull you in, so I warn you now that you may not get a good night sleep for a few nights as you binge. I wrote a review about it So check that out for more about how great this show really is. But it's basically a show about 3 friends who make you want to find friends asap.

  4. Transplant

A Syrian Refugee in Canada who is also a doctor working in the ER, trying to navigate his way in a new country with his sister. Sounds interesting? It is! Season 1 is out and streaming on Hulu!

  5. Hart of Dixie

This is on my favorite shows list in my mind. I will forever miss this show. It has multiple seasons which is nice to be able to watch a great show for days and weeks versus one night. Big town Doctor moving to a small town has been done many times, but this show will make you want to just pack up and move to a small town

That's my top 5...what shows are on your list?
(Old or New is welcomed!)

Who Am I? The face behind this screen is easily seen at Youtube.com at GBRLIFE or the VLOG Page. But, I know that doesn't answer the question as to who I am. I'm a Mom, Wife, and full-time employee, who also happens to own her Own Vlog, Blog, Podcast, and Clothing Line. I have two kids of my own and 2 step kids and I’ve been married to a wonderful man since 2017. My 9-5 job is in the Technology industry so I deal with men all day, but I love getting to learn new things and helping humanity grow in the technology realm. On the side, I have always been a writer and I happen to talk a ton so GBRLIFE came into fruition along with a couple of books. I have loved every minute of GBRLIFE and I'm happy to share it with all of you. Please keep reading, commenting, following, buying, and subscribing! You make all of this possible and worth it. SO to finally answer the Who am I question...well I'm you! My Journey is your Journey!
