What It's Like Having A Baby And Toddler In Quarantine
I’m at my wit’s end most days. I look around at my house and home then at my kids and I think well…..I’m going to drop one of these days.
Why?
Because we haven’t really left our home since March and it’s October. My family is home all the time and basically, everything that there is to do is over at this point.
I mean how many more toys can I buy to get my son to want to play quietly and at home?
Yet, we make It every day and every night with one secret…Family time.
What it’s like having a baby and toddler in quarantine is the worst and best experience I have ever had. Because I am home with my kids and really getting to know them in a way that my own parents never got to with me and my siblings.
I don’t have to worry about missing a first step or a word. I can focus more on helping my kids grow and I can actually enjoy those amazing family moments where we all get to just be us together.
Although with my kids, they are go go go, loud as can be and just overall insane little hurricanes all day!
I’m stressed out, tired, and I basically have ZERO time for myself but I’m happier than I have been in a long time.
I’m happy to be home with my family and my kids. But I can’t wait for things to open and my kids to go to preschool next year.
