Women's Day 2022

Women’s day started a long time ago with origins as far back as 1909 but it started for women by women because of the suffering endured. Women have become more equal members of society, but it has taken literal blood, sweat, and tears to make it happen. And let’s face it…women still have a long way to go even with all that has already been fought for. Though most of us couldn’t dream of just how bad it used to be for women overall.

It also explains why the older the woman, the more likely she is to have incredible stories about what life was like for her and what she had to endure in order to be taken seriously as a human being.

Alternatively, it’s why we have the issue of men who continue to have a backward perspective of women and their inability to accept that life has changed. It was how they were raised and what they grew up seeing.

This never excuses away behavior, but it does allow us all to understand where it went wrong and how we can all make sure it doesn’t continue to happen.

No matter what was, and what people still have to overcome, the truth is clear, women do have something to celebrate in where we are today as a civilization. Women can vote, we can drive, and we can have jobs. Not in the entire world, but in most of the world, we have a voice again.

To the point of even having women in leadership roles within small, large, and political organizations.

Women deserve this day to celebrate and recognize what was done so that we can continue to put our big girl pants on and keep on the good fight for our daughters and our daughters…granddaughters.

I hope every other woman today stood tall with pride in knowing, we are superhuman just because we are Moms, daughters, sisters, friends but most importantly…Women.

How did you celebrate Women’s Day?

Who Am I? The face behind this screen is easily seen at Youtube.com at GBRLIFE or the VLOG Page. But, I know that doesn't answer the question as to who I am. I'm a Mom, Wife, and full-time employee, who also happens to own her Own Vlog, Blog, Podcast, and Clothing Line. I have two kids of my own and 2 step kids and I’ve been married to a wonderful man since 2017. My 9-5 job is in the Technology industry so I deal with men all day, but I love getting to learn new things and helping humanity grow in the technology realm. On the side, I have always been a writer and I happen to talk a ton so GBRLIFE came into fruition along with a couple of books. I have loved every minute of GBRLIFE and I'm happy to share it with all of you. Please keep reading, commenting, following, buying, and subscribing! You make all of this possible and worth it. SO to finally answer the Who am I question...well I'm you! My Journey is your Journey!
