10 Fun and Easy Indoor Activities to Keep Your Kids Active and Entertained at Home!

As a busy mom, it can be tough to keep your kids entertained, especially when they're stuck at home. While video games and screen time can provide some relief, they're not always the best option. That's why I've put together a list of 10 fun and engaging physical activities that your kids can do right in your own home. So put that mom juice to the side and go have some fun with the kiddos.

  1. Build an obstacle course: Use couch cushions, pillows, and other household items to create a challenging course for your kids to navigate. Time them to see who can complete it the fastest!

  2. Dance party: Put on some upbeat music and let your kids dance their hearts out. Bonus points if you join in on the fun!

  3. Yoga: There are plenty of kid-friendly yoga videos available online. This is a great way for your kids to stretch their bodies and calm their minds.

  4. Scavenger hunt: Create a list of items for your kids to find around the house. This is a great way to get them moving and exploring their surroundings.

  5. Indoor sports: Set up a mini basketball hoop or play a game of indoor soccer. This is a great way for your kids to get some exercise and improve their hand-eye coordination.

  6. Jump rope: Jumping rope is a classic physical activity that your kids are sure to love. Plus, it's great cardio!

  7. Balloon volleyball: Blow up a balloon and play a game of volleyball with your kids. This is a fun and easy way to get them moving and improve their coordination.

  8. Simon Says: This classic game is a great way to get your kids moving and improve their listening skills.

  9. Freeze dance: Put on some music and have your kids dance, but when you stop the music they have to freeze in place. This is a great way to get them moving and improve their listening skills.

  10. Hula hoop: Grab a hula hoop and have your kids give it a spin. This is a great way for them to work on their balance and coordination.

By incorporating these physical activities into your kids' daily routines, you'll not only help keep them healthy and active, but you'll also create fun memories that they'll cherish for years to come. Plus, you get the night off because they will sleep better than a baby. No waking up constantly, just 10 to 12 hours of silence after the eventful day they just had. Take tons of photos!

Who Am I? The face behind this screen is easily seen at Youtube.com at GBRLIFE or the VLOG Page. But, I know that doesn't answer the question as to who I am. I'm a Mom, Wife, and full-time employee, who also happens to own her Own Vlog, Blog, Podcast, and Clothing Line. I have two kids of my own and 2 step kids and I’ve been married to a wonderful man since 2017. My 9-5 job is in the Technology industry so I deal with men all day, but I love getting to learn new things and helping humanity grow in the technology realm. On the side, I have always been a writer and I happen to talk a ton so GBRLIFE came into fruition along with a couple of books. I have loved every minute of GBRLIFE and I'm happy to share it with all of you. Please keep reading, commenting, following, buying, and subscribing! You make all of this possible and worth it. SO to finally answer the Who am I question...well I'm you! My Journey is your Journey!
