Habits of successful people

As someone who wants to be successful in everything I do, I’m always looking to learn best practices. While no one is perfect, it can be hard to give up wanting success in the paths we choose for our lives. Success is also completely different for each person by definition. But certain habits are proven to help people in general, to become their form of success. I went looking for what those habits were, and this is what I found. So let’s learn together.

These are the most common habits of Successful people:

1. They Wake up Early – And by early this means about 5-530 AM. So not just the normal waking up because your kids wake up early. They try to wake up before the world is awake to get personal time in.

2. They get plenty of sleep 7-10 hours a night-
Just because they wake up early doesn’t mean they get no sleep. They go to sleep early enough to get the hours they need to sustain their busy days.

3. They value exercise-
Exercise isn’t just about getting a six pack. But these people will use it to get their mind cleared then focused. It’s about being healthy so they can be their best without any limitations even physically.

4. They are very into short term and long term goals-
Goals get us to the next level and in a way you can see this more like they have constant ambition in the smallest to the biggest things they do.

5. They like Routine-
If you get up early, exercise, review your goals, go to your job, go home, have downtime, go to sleep early. I would say you are very routine based. And this is what successful people do.

6. They value downtime-
We can’t always be on for the world. It’s important to take time for ourselves away for some time to recharge our batteries. And Successful people know this and do this.

7. They like to Read-
Reading is a great way to learn, and grow. So they read up everything they can. Usually, their literature consists of business, history or current events.

8. They accept Failure as Part of the process, Not the outcome-
Failure is the most common part of going on our life paths. But it doesn’t mean the opportunities have past and we have to give up our dreams or goals. It just means we have to look at them again to figure out a new beginning in order to make it work. And successful people not only do this but they welcome it.

9. They learn continuously-
To learn is to grow. And as you have read above, successful people love to grow. These people learn in every way they can, by mentors, colleagues, books, classes. You name it and they are probably trying it.

10. They say No-
This is one of the hardest behaviors to learn for most people. Myself included. We feel like we have to say yes more than no because it could be a missed opportunity or we will hurt feelings. What yes all the time brings you is getting burnt out. What No brings you is time to focus on what needs to be focused on. Successful people know this and they aren’t sorry for it. Because this isn’t about being disrespectful. This is about making your goals your main focus, not the goals/distractions of others.

Who Am I? The face behind this screen is easily seen at Youtube.com at GBRLIFE or the VLOG Page. But, I know that doesn't answer the question as to who I am. I'm a Mom, Wife, and full-time employee, who also happens to own her Own Vlog, Blog, Podcast, and Clothing Line. I have two kids of my own and 2 step kids and I’ve been married to a wonderful man since 2017. My 9-5 job is in the Technology industry so I deal with men all day, but I love getting to learn new things and helping humanity grow in the technology realm. On the side, I have always been a writer and I happen to talk a ton so GBRLIFE came into fruition along with a couple of books. I have loved every minute of GBRLIFE and I'm happy to share it with all of you. Please keep reading, commenting, following, buying, and subscribing! You make all of this possible and worth it. SO to finally answer the Who am I question...well I'm you! My Journey is your Journey!
