10 MORE Unbelievable Facts That Are Actually True

Let’s get straight to it…

  • Space is amazing and so I Start with a Space Fact! Pluto is smaller than you may think. In fact, the surface area of Russia is bigger than the surface area of Pluto!

  • Cookie Monster’s real name is Sid. But lets just all agree never to call him that

  • Clouds actually have a hefty weight. A normal cumulus cloud you see on a nice blue and bright day weights 1.1 million pounds. Light as a cloud is not exactly that light.

  • Cheetahs are amazing felines that are strong and clearly able to take care of themselves in the wild. But they don’t roar as we all think. They just Meow like a domestic cat, makes them seem more friendly but I would suggest not trying to pet them.

  • We all know drugs aren’t the best idea but they weren’t always known to be bad or addictive. For example, Heroin was formerly used to treat the cough of children and just cold’s overall back In the 1890’s. It wasn’t until 1912 that they realized it was actually dangerous for kids, so they made it prescription only by 1914. It took another 10 years before it was banned completely. Doctors try their best but they don't always know things until they know things. 🤷🏼‍♀️

  • Science is fun, especially when you can test it out yourself. Like this fact about Coke! A diet Coke will float in water but a regular coke sinks. Makes you wonder a bit more what they put in there!

  • It’s possible to get Pregnant while already being Pregnant. They call it superfetation and yes there is already a handful of cases of this happening. Like the Case of Katie Hill’s Twins in Australia, they were conceived 10 days apart and had different due dates but they did come out on the same day.

  • Nintendo was made in 1889. Yes you read that correctly and it’s always been about games. Starting with Card Games which eventually turned into the Nintendo we know and love today.

  • Betty White is actually older then Sliced Bread. She was born on January 17,1922 and Sliced Bread was available for purchase on July 7,1928. Proves she’s more amazing than we realized.

  • In the 11th Century when Forks were introduced, they were considered to be offensive to God instead of eating with your hands that “God gave you to eat with”. But Wealthy Families of the time welcomed the change and expensive forks made of Gold continued to be created…and let’s face it, us poor people like to pretend to be rich so of course we started using them!
